Sleek Blush in 'Suede'

Hey everyone, so here's my first beauty post. I was in desperate need of a new blush and my friend Lydia a.k.a The Style Attacker (check out her blog here!: http://thestyleattacker.blogspot.co.uk) recommended Sleek's blush in the colour 'Suede.' I got it from Superdrug for about £4.49 which I think is a great price for a blush, especially as I'm not one to spend a huge amount on make-up. The packaging is really sturdy and has a mirror inside which is great for touch-ups.
The colour is quite peachy and pigmented and it just looks really natural and healthy on and can be built up for a bolder colour but I absolutely love it and couldn't help try it out the minute I got home. I also got my Mum the 'Storm' eye palette (£8) which is really similar to the Make-Up Academy palettes (£4) and the Urban Decay Naked palettes. I'll do a separate review on that though! I've never tried any of the Sleek make-up range before but will definitely be trying out more of their products because I think the quality and the prices that go with them are amazing.

Have you tried any Sleek products? Comment and let me know below! (and again, sorry for the poor picture quality!)

3 days, 3 outfits

Hey  everyone! Firstly, please excuse my selfies in the mirror for these outfit posts - I don't have a tripod or a great camera for that matter to take great quality photos and hate asking people to take my photo so for now my iPhone will have to do.

These are just a few outfits I wore this week. I go to college every day so I don't really wear anything too fancy, comfort is key for me! The outfit on my left is my favourite and I bought the alphabet shirt from Primark for £12 when I went to Newcastle. I saw it posted on a few blogs and knew I had to have it, I think the print is so unique and I love the baggy shape and wide sleeves. I wore it with a black cami underneath because it is really sheer and some plain black leggings.

The jumper in the middle is from Topshop and comes in other colours too and is so warm and perfect for layering shirts underneath because of the high collar. I wore that with vintage Levi shorts from Urban Outfitters (old) and my favourite leather jacket.

It's hard to tell, but in the photo on the right I'm wearing a navy camouflage River Island shirt which I found in the sale for £20. It's a quite stiff jacket material and has aztec detailing on the shoulders but the stiffness bothers me quite a bit and i'm still deciding whether to keep it or not.

What's your favourite outfit posted?

Next stop, Newcastle!

Not so much a fashion related post but this weekend I went to Newcastle to check out Northumbria university and attend an interview. I've never been to Newcastle before but found it really easy to find my way around and the uni is really central to one of the main high streets which is really useful if you study a fashion course. Of course I couldn't walk down the high street without popping into a few shops and yes we have the same in London but they're always different! Picked up a few things from Primark which was inevitable and might post later. Also found lots of cheap and lively bars and pubs and thought all the locals were very friendly. I was really impressed with Northumbria and it lived up to my every expectation so now I'm just crossing my fingers and toes for a place!

Topshop SS13

Decided to pop into Topshop the other day as its been a few weeks since my last visit. Usually I visit about once a week and it can get a little dull seeing the same clothes over and over again so I was more than a little happy to see the arrival of Topshop's SS13 collection. Featuring a variety of pastel coloured knitted jumpers and floral jeans definitely made me both nostalgic and excited for summer. And what with the gloomy weather in London, I can't wait to update my look with some brightly coloured jumpers! I was also really loving the variety of graphic print trousers and bold knits they had in stock which would create great edgy outfits. I also noticed a lot of monochrome pieces such as black and white striped tops and trousers which made me ecstatic be
Despite loving colour, during the winter months I can't help but reach for dark clothing so the return of monochrome is right up my street.

What do you think of Topshop's new collection?
